Wardrobe Planning with Ann: Black T-Shirt

T-shirts, in your best neutral, are wonderful wardrobe basics to have.  Ann was lacking in this area.  She has t-shirts but they are the kind you receive at events.

Ann liked the fit of the t-shirt shown above and used it as her pattern.
(Second video on making the t-shirt pattern.(Third video on Neckband & Neck Binding) The fabric I suggested is the 11oz Rayon Jersey Knit in basic black This rayon jersey has an upscale feel which means it can go from casual to dressy.  It's also machine washable making it perfect for Ann's lifestyle.

Ann had not considered wearing a t-shirt for anything else other than sporting events or lounging at home.  She put together the looks below and was surprised at how useful this black t-shirt is.

Casual Workday

Church/Meetings

Full Day of Work and Meetings

Belated Valentine's Day Dinner
Notice she wore this with her Red Lace skirt and a satin jacket.

Ann also had fun trying different accessories like the statement necklace and the faux fur scarf.

Ann put together some great combinations and I know you've been inspired to sew your own t-shirt and make outfits that work for you!  (See all colors of the 11oz jersey here.)

And as Ann always says "I hope you get inspired to create something EXTRAordinary;)"
