Wrap it up!

Spring is finally in full swing and so should your sewing projects!
Here’s an idea; with all the beautiful rayon knit fabrics in prints and solids, why not make a classy wrap dress?

A little note about DVF

  • In 1970 Diane von Furstenberg arrived in New York with a suitcase full of jersey dresses that she had made at her friend Angelo Ferretti’s factory in Italy. She was encouraged by Vogue editor Diana Vreeland to pursue her dreams of designing. By 1974, she introduced the classic wrap dress that became a success almost immediately.
  • It remains a mainstay in women’s wardrobes many decades later.

We’re grateful for this silhouette which is suitable for all body types. It’s versatile and easy to wear. Dress it up for nights out on the town or make it work for daytime and casual outings.

This is DVF’s version of the spring 2017 wrap dress. Notice the graphic print used.

Even First Ladies like this classic look in prints!
