Fabric in the Spotlight:
Black Sequin Stretch Velvet

100% Polyester
Designer-Rebecca Minkoff
Tiny, 1/8" black sequins are in a scroll design on a
black stretch velvet.  The sequin pattern in 54" wide with
2-1/2" of plain black stretch velvet on one side and 3-1/2"
on the opposite side.  The fabric has excellent crosswise
stretch and slight lengthwise stretch.  This is perfect for a
special after five event.  Make a T-shirt, skirt, shrug, sheath
dress or add just a touch of sparkle with a collar, sleeve or
only the front of a garment.

Sewing Tip: Set your sewing machine for a slight zig-zag stitch.  This will allow the seams to stretch with the fabric.
